BSS Forest School is in a unique position working within Stockport's Behaviour Support Service to have links with most of the local schools and, having also trained over 50 practitioners, we have cultivated a fantastic network of people. We
offer termly Networking events for Forest School Leaders, Assistants and Trainees who practise within the borough.
Each term we rotate to a different site, where the host usually offers us a tour and talks to us about how their site has evolved over time. This offers fantastic inspiration to people developing new sites and is often a chance for the hosts to show off their resourcefulness and to share what they have learnt along the way.
Events are held outside and quite informal, with plenty of opportunity to talk to other practitioners over a hot drink. There is also a different skill-share opportunity which may be a new knot, recipe, game, craft, story or song.
These events are always FREE and there's no need to book so just come and join us if you can!
If you have any further questions about the Stockport Networks, would like to host or share a skill, please email firstname.lastname@example.org .
Our first online BSS Forest School Stockport Network will take place via Zoom on Wednesday 10 June at 2pm.
