Primary Jigsaw Staff

Meet the team...

Hi! I am Anna Purvis and I am the co-ordinator of Primary Jigsaw.  I manage the team and  undertake work with children and families. I am very proud of our terrific team. I have a BSc in Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology of Education. I joined PJ in 2018 after working within Greater Manchester for over 20 years with children and families. These roles have mainly been within Stockport, and  I have also worked as an MST Therapist in Wigan. I am particularly interested in supporting parents to understand the drivers and context of their children’s emotional wellbeing through their behaviour and helping them to make sustainable changes to improve their children’s mental health.

I am Kelly Devine Hayes and I have worked for Primary Jigsaw for just over a year. I previously worked for Manchester Children & Parents Service as a Parenting Practitioner, specialising in delivering The Incredible  Years  parenting programme. My interests are in building positive relationships with families by supporting and enabling them to become confident parents.

I'm Wendy Smith, a teacher with Primary Jigsaw. I support children on an individual and group basis and work alongside families and school staff to decide how to best meet children’s needs. My background is in working as a class teacher in mainstream schools. I have also worked as a teacher with HYMS and as an intervention teacher in an SEMH school.

My name is Helen Tebbutt, I joined Primary Jigsaw in 2019. Prior to this I worked in Stockport as a teacher in primary schools teaching all ages from early years to year 6. As a child and family support worker I am particularly interested in relationships and how these can support a child to thrive both in school and at home.

Hi, I’m Sally Wilkinson  and I joined the Primary Jigsaw team in September 2018. I enjoy building relationships with families and working together to promote mental welllbeing. Prior to joining Primary Jigsaw, I’ve worked as a teaching assistant and an English teacher in secondary schools. I’ve also delivered group and one-to-one resilience and mindfulness sessions in secondary schools. Alongside my work with Primary Jigsaw, I work for a charity delivering coaching sessions to children, young people and adults, using a solution-focused approach.

Hi I am Becky Pierce. I am new to the Primary Jigsaw team and  just started in April 2021.

Previously I have worked within Manchester for 15 years with Children and Families. My main role within Manchester was part of a Therapeutic Fostering team delivering services to support children with their emotional, social and behavioural skills that would therefore improve placement stability. My interests are supporting children and their families to live a happy and positive life with the right support around for each child to flourish and achieve to the best of their ability.
